There are, however, a number of factors which may affect your particular project such as the type and quality of your sub-floor, type of skirting board, type of heating etc. This is why we are more than happy to arrange a home visit to allow us to assess these details and offer a range of solutions based on your particular needs.

To obtain an accurate quotation for your hardwood flooring it is helpful if you can draw a rough plan of your room's shape.

Don't worry, it doesn't have to be an accurate scale drawing! - just an idea of the room's shape and accurate measurements will be enough. However, it is better if you can measure distances between walls at a mid-point in the room rather than along the walls (see diagram for example). Very few walls are sufficiently "true" to square to allow for accurate measurement in that way.
